Kristin Carvell is chief communications officer of GE Vernova. In this role, she leads global communications and brand marketing.  

Kristin has more than 20 years of communications leadership and executive counsel experience spanning global communications agencies, technology companies, government, and political campaigns. She joined GE in 2016, leading internal and external communications across GE Gas Power systems.  

Prior to GE, Kristin was head of business and product communications at Uber Technologies where she developed global strategies and partnerships. For six years, Kristin served as a senior corporate communications leader for Cisco Systems managing global crises, mergers and acquisitions and legal communications.  At Cisco, she developed and led communications for the company’s global Internet of Everything brand initiative.  

Kristin began her career in key political leadership roles for nearly a decade, serving as a senior communications leader in the U.S. Senate, the Office of the Governor in two states, and a Presidential campaign. 

Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Grady School of Journalism at The University of Georgia.
