Dan Garceau is the chief supply chain officer of GE Vernova. In this role, he oversees company operations and lean and is responsible for global supply chain, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), quality, indirect sourcing, and facilities.
Dan has more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing industries. He joined GE in 2020 as group vice president of lean and business operations for Gas Power and most recently served as the group vice president of global supply chain for Gas Power. Prior to GE, Dan served as president of Autoliv Americas and as a member of their executive management team. During his more than two decades at Autoliv, he built a foundation and cultivated his mastery of lean, beginning in 1999 when Autoliv expanded its working relationship with Toyota.
Dan left Autoliv for almost three years and served from 2008 to 2010 as a corporate director for the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Danaher Corporation. He helped govern Danaher’s methods and philosophy of continuous improvement and change – rooted in the customer-facing priorities of quality, delivery, and innovation – before returning to Autoliv in 2010.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Utah State University.
