Schenectady, NY (August 19, 2025) – With global energy demand at historic levels, today GE Vernova announced a new $41 million investment in its historic Schenectady facility to expand generator capacity by expanding the company’s Center of Excellence for Steam and Generator assembly and testing. This new funding is expected to add 50 new jobs at the facility, helping meet global customer demand. The state of New York’s Excelsior Jobs Program has also awarded GE Vernova $1 million towards completing this project.

Berlin, Germany (08 July, 2025) – GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE: GEV) today announced it has been awarded a contract by German transmission system operator TransnetBW to modernize the Kühmoos grid node - an important electrical substation in southern Germany that plays a vital role in cross-border power flows and regional grid stability. Once complete, the upgraded site is expected to enhance frequency regulation, voltage stability, and power exchange between Germany, France, and Switzerland.

Strengthening a Strategic Grid Node

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (July 7, 2025) – GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE: GEV) is scheduled to release its second quarter 2025 financial results on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, before market open.

TAIWAN (July 7, 2025) – GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE: GEV) announced that the first of three blocks of Taiwan Power Company Nan Bu Construction Organization (TPC NPCO)’s Hsinta power plant, powered by GE Vernova 7HA.03 combined cycle equipment, started to operate and officially dispatch up to 1,3 gigawatt of electricity to Taiwan’s energy grid.

The new generating unit paves the way to a gradual replacement of the coal-fired units present at Hsinta site. The H-class blocks of this plant are expected to reduce the older coal units’ emissions by 60%.

STAFFORD, UK (July 3, 2025) – Last week, GE Vernova and The Inspirational Learning Group celebrated the graduation of 27 students from Next Engineers, a three-year global career readiness programme creating opportunities for young people to become engineers.
