Huffman Engineering, Inc. has nearly four decades of experience with a proven track record of delivering large-scale system integration projects with municipalities as an electrical control systems integrator and electrical engineering firm with offices in Englewood, Colorado and Lincoln, Omaha & Kearney, Nebraska. At Huffman Engineering, we take pride in having some of the best engineers and technicians in the industry who have exceptional backgrounds and experiences. To ensure we can rapidly respond to our clients’ needs, Huffman Engineering employs degreed engineers, and multiple supporting automation specialists, CAD & E-Plan design technicians and licensed journeyman and electricians. Currently, seven employees hold a Professional Engineer license, and two employees hold a Project Management Professional certification.

Our system integration expertise extends to highly regulated industries requiring clients to meet stringent regulatory requirements. Huffman Engineering can design and build robust and reliable automation systems to meet the expectations of the CDPHE, FDA, USDA and EPA. Our documentation is detailed and consistent, allowing our customers to be prepared to validate any regulatory requirements. Huffman Engineering is home to the oldest UL508A and UL698A shops in Eastern Nebraska, Huffman Engineering also houses a fully certified UL508A shop in Colorado. Control panels are custom built in-house by experienced technicians to exacting industry standards that are clearly labeled, documented and tested before leaving the shop to ensure quality to customers.

As a full-scale engineering firm, we focus our start-to-finish automation & control system integration projects on six specific regulated industries. They include pharmaceutical/life sciences, water/wastewater, food/beverage, electrical utilities/natural gas, manufacturing/material handling, and networking/data analytics/cybersecurity.

Huffman Engineering sets a standard of excellence by consistently being certified by the Control Systems Integrator Association (CSIA) an audit we have passed since 2005. “Certified Member” recognition is considered the gold standard for Automation and Control System Integration companies and is only attained by meeting stringent performance standards through an intensive audit process. We are consistently found on the System Integrator Giants list of globally recognized System Integrators, and our standards of excellence were further recognized with Huffman Engineering being named the Control Engineering/Plant Engineering 2022 System Integrator of the Year and subsequently inducted into the System Integrator Hall of Fame.
