Thickness Monitoring (TM) System Requirements

License Requirements

The Thickness Monitoring license is required to take advantage of TM functionality.

Additional Components Required

In addition to Thickness Monitoring, if you will use devices to collect data that you will transfer to GE Digital APM, the machine that will connect to these devices must have the GE Digital APM Device Service installed. The following devices are supported:

GE DMS Go
GE DMS Go+
GE DMS2
Olympus (Panametrics) 37DL Plus Ultrasonic Thickness Gage
Olympus (Panametrics) 38DL Plus Ultrasonic Thickness Gage

These devices may require additional drivers provided by the manufacturer.

Deploying Thickness Monitoring

After you have installed and configured the basic GE Digital APM system architecture, you will need to perform some configuration steps specifically for Thickness Monitoring.
