System Requirements

The Operator Rounds license and the Lubrication Management license are required to take advantage of the Rounds functionality (i.e., Rounds Designer and Rounds Data Collection modules).

Additional Components Required

Refer to the supported software and devices documentation for information about the software and hardware requirements for devices you can use for data collection in Rounds. In addition, if you want to use Barcode scanning and RFID scanning on a Windows Mobile handheld device, then the device must meet certain specifications.

GE Digital APM must be installed on each small screen device or Windows Mobile handheld device, and there is no restriction on the number of devices that can be used.

To use Rounds on Windows Mobile handheld devices, in addition to the basic GE Digital APM system architecture, your system must also contain the following additional components:

GE Digital APM Sync Services
Microsoft Sync Framework

In addition, when you configure Rounds on a Windows Mobile handheld device, you must install the following software, which is included in the GE Digital APM Sync Services installation, on the device:

.NET Compact Framework 3.5
Microsoft SQL CE 3.5 SP1
Microsoft Sync Services for ADO.NET 1.0 SP1

Supported Features in APM Now

In the APM Now environment, support for Windows Mobile devices is unavailable. All other standard GE Digital APM product features for this module are available online in a browser.
