Delete Nodes from the Event Diagram

When you delete a node from the Event Diagram, you are deleting the associated RCA Sequence Node and any links to the associated RCA Sequence Node.

Hint: If you do not want to delete successor nodes, you should remove the connectors before deleting the predecessor node. If you delete a predecessor node without first deleting the connector between it and the successor nodes, the records that are associated with the successor nodes will also be deleted.

Steps

Access the Event Diagram containing the node that you want to delete.
On the design canvas, select the node that you want to delete.
At the top of the workspace, in the Edit section, select .

The Delete Node dialog box appears, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the selected node.
Select Yes.

The selected node is deleted along with any associated successor nodes.
