Modify a Record in the Record Manager

Steps

  1. Access Record Manager, selecting the record that you want to modify.

  2. As needed, modify the available fields on the datasheet.

  3. On the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select Site:.

    Note: If the user creates a new record from an existing record, then the new record will inherit the site reference key of the predecessor record.

  4. Select the site to which you want to assign the record.

    Notes

    • If the record is assigned to the default site, then it can be accessed only by users who have been assigned to the same site or by a Super User. You may change the site to any of the sites that the user has permission for or choose to designate the record as a Global Record by selecting Global, so that all GE Digital APM users can see it. See the Site Filtering section of the documentation for more information on using that feature.
    • A Super user can assign any site to the record.
  5. Select .

    The changes are saved.
