You can add a new reference document or link an existing reference document to a record.
Select
The Add Reference Document window appears.
In the Document Path box, select
The Edit Document Path window appears.
If you want to store the reference document in the GE Digital APM database:
Select Save.
The document path is added to the datasheet.
-or-
If you want to link the reference document to an external network file, select Link to an external network file, and then enter the external network file path in the text box.
Note: Before you link a reference document to an external network file, you must configure the server credentials of your network in GE Digital APM.

The reference document is saved.
Note: The link to the document appears in the Document Path box.
Select
The Search window appears.
If you want to search reference documents of all families, select

If you know the name of the reference document that you want to link, enter the name in the search box, and then press Enter.
Select the check box next to the reference document that you want to link, and then select OK.
The reference document is linked to the record.
