Modify Recommended Actions State Assignments

Access the Recommended Actions pane.
Next to one or more Recommended Actions to which you want to modify the state assignment, select the check box.

The selected Recommended Actions are highlighted.
In the Recommended Actions pane heading, select , and then select one of the following options:
- Request Approval: Using the baseline Action Management implementation, RCM FMEA Recommendation records and RBI Recommendation records can be sent for approval for implementation from the Approved state. Note that:
  - You can send an RBI Recommendation for approval for implementation only if ASM integration is disabled for RBI.
  - After an RBI Recommendation record is sent for approval for implementation, it cannot be modified.
- Approve: Using the baseline Action Management implementation, an RBI Recommendation record can be requested for approval from the Proposed state if ASM integration is disabled for RBI.
  - Using the baseline Action Management implementation, an RCM FMEA Recommendation record can be approved from the Pending state.
  - An RBI Recommendation can be approved from the Pending Approval state if ASM integration is disabled for RBI.
  - After an RBI Recommendation record is approved, it cannot be modified.
- Reject: Using the baseline Action Management implementation:
  - An RCM FMEA Recommendation record can be rejected from the Pending state.
  - An RBI Recommendation record can be rejected from the Proposed state or the Approved state if ASM integration is not enabled for RBI.
  - After an RBI Recommendation record is rejected, it cannot be modified.
A message appears, confirming that the selected Recommended Actions have transitioned.

Note: If you have more than one Recommended Action selected, you can also Consolidate and Supersede Recommended Actions; however, these steps are documented in a separate set of procedures.
