Install Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) - Business Intelligence for Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 or Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 (available at the official Microsoft website).
The following table describes the SSDT versions and the corresponding supported SQL Server versions:

Steps
On the machine that will serve as the APM Reports Designer, access the GE Digital APM Distribution package, and then navigate to the Admin folder.
Run the file Setup.exe.
The Meridium Admin - InstallShield Wizard window appears.
Select Next.
The License Agreement window appears.
Read the License Agreement and, if you agree, select the I accept the terms of the license agreement check box, and then select Next.
The Select Installation Location window appears.
Select Next to accept the default location.
The Select the features you want to install window appears.
Select SSRS Data Processing extension for Visual Studio, and then select Next.
The Complete the Installation window appears.
Select Install.
The Setup Status window appears, displaying a progress bar that shows the progress of the installation process.
After the installation, the Installation is Complete page appears.
Clear the Launch APM System Administration now box, and then select Finish.
The APM System Administration window appears.
Select Sql Server Report Designer.
The Add Meridium URL to SSRS Designer box appears.
Select Save.
The GE Digital Server URL is added.
Select Exit.
The APM Report Designer is installed.
