About State Management in GE Analytics

GE Analytics employs standard State Management functionality to manage GE Tag Event records.

The following baseline record states are configured for the GE Tag Event family:

Open: Indicates a new event that has not been acknowledged. This is the default state for GE Tag Event records.
Pending: Indicates that the event has been acknowledged and is awaiting action.
Closed: Indicates that any related actions have been initiated or that it has been determined that no actions are needed.

Note: In order to transition a GE Tag Event record to closed, you must provide an explanation of why you are closing the event by selecting a value in the Disposition Reason field.
