ACA Components

An ACAAn Asset Criticality Analysis record and all the records that are linked to that record. Using the ACA interface, you can evaluate the criticality of systems and the individual locations and pieces of equipment that make up those systems by defining the consequences and probability of the failure events that may occur. In this way, you can determine which of your systems, locations, and pieces of equipment have the highest risk of failure in your facility. In other words, using the ACA interface, you can determine which of your systems, locations, and pieces of equipment are critical. is composed of an ACA record, and all the records that are linked directly and indirectly to it. Refer to the data model for details on how these records are linked in the GE Digital APM database.

An ACA includes an ACA record, and records in the following families:

Human Resource : Stores details about the team members participating in the analysis.
Reference Document : Stores hyperlinks to documents that are external to GE Digital APM (e.g., a diagram) that the team can use during the analysis.
Asset Criticality Analysis System : Stores details about the systems in your facility for which you are conducting the analysis.

In addition to the records listed above, an ACA includes records in the following families that are linked directly to an Asset Criticality Analysis System record through the Asset Criticality Analysis Has System relationship family.

General Recommendation : Stores details on recommendations that have been proposed by the ACA team to mitigate the risk of a system or asset failure.
Risk Assessment : Stores the unmitigated risk value for the system or asset that you are analyzing.
Equipment and Functional Location : Stores details on equipment and locations, which are part of Asset Groups, and that are included in the system that is represented by the ACA System record.
