Specify Recommendation Status and State Mappings

In RCA application settings, you can now specify whether the value in the Recommendation Status field will be updated automatically when the Recommendation state is modified.

IMPORTANT: This feature can only be enabled with baseline states and statuses. If you have modified or added states, you cannot enable mappings.

Steps

Access the RCA Administrator page.
Select the Default Settings tab.

The Default Settings workspace appears.
In the Recommendation Status and State section, select one of the following options:
- Recommendation Status to work independently from state (Baseline Configuration): The value in the Recommendation Status field will not be updated automatically when the Recommendation state is modified.
- Recommendation Status to change automatically with change to State (Mappings enabled): The value in the Recommendation Status field will be updated automatically when the Recommendation state is modified.
  
  Tip: When you have selected the option to synchronize the Recommendation Status with the Recommendation state, you can also manually update the Status field as required.
The Recommendation Status and state setting is saved.
