Before you begin working with VisiconX Controls:
- iFIX users:
Start iFIX and the iFIX WorkSpace. When you start the WorkSpace, you are ready to begin inserting and defining your controls. Start by creating a new picture or opening an existing one, as described in the iFIX Creating Pictures ebook.
- CIMPLICITY users:
Start CimEdit and then create a new CimEdit screen or open an existing one, as described in the ebook. VisiconX controls are inserted and defined in a CimEdit screen.
