Operations Hub Tab - User Preferences Dialog Box

The Operations Hub tab of the User Preferences dialog box displays the following items:

Operations Hub Configuration

Item

Description

Server Name

Enter the network name of the Operations Hub Server.

NOTE: IP addresses are not acceptable for the Server Name.
Proficy Auth. (UAA)
  • If using Operations Hub and Proficy Authentication on the same server, leave this entry blank.
  • If using Operations Hub with with Proficy Authentication on a different server, enter the machine name where Proficy Authentication resides.
  • Update your hosts file to add the related machine IP addresses for Operations Hub and Proficy Authentication.

Port

 Enter the port number you want to communicate with Operations Hub. By default, the port is port 443.

User Name

 Enter the user name to connect to the Operations Hub Server.
Test Connection Use this button to test your connection to the Operations Hub Server.

SSL Security

Item

Description

Require Trusted Connection

 Select this option if a trusted connection is required to export or publish pictures.
View Certificate Use this button to view your trusted certificate.

Export Configuration

Item

Description

Mimic Export Path

 Enter that path where you want Operations Hub to look for your exported pictures.

Publish to Operations Hub

 Select this option to publish your iFIX pictures to Operations Hub. If the Publish to Operations Hub option is not selected, pictures are only exported and not published to Operations Hub. By default, this option is disabled.
