Generating Baseline Files

To generate a baseline file for each folder selected in the main window:

1. In the iFIX WorkSpace, double-click Application Validator in the system tree. The Application Validator opens.
2. Make sure that you select the check box of each folder for which you want to create a baseline file. If you want to select all folders, on the Edit menu, click Select All.
3. On the Create menu, click Baseline. If no baseline files exist, the Application Validator begins creating baseline files. If you previously created baselines for any of the selected folders, a message box appears.
4. If a message box appears, click Yes to All to continue with the creation of baseline files. The new baseline overrides the previous version.

NOTE: Click the Cancel button in the bottom right corner of the screen if you want to stop the creation of baseline files. The baseline files creation stops after the Application Validator creates the baseline for the current row. The row number currently being processed is displayed in the status bar at the bottom left corner of the application.
