Modifying a User Account

To modify a user account:

  1. In Classic view, the iFIX WorkSpace, click the Security Configuration button on the toolbar.

-Or-

In Ribbon view, on the Applications tab, in the System & Security group, click Security, and then click Security Configuration Utility.

  1. On the Security toolbox, click the User Accounts button.
  2. Double-click the user account you want to modify.
  3. Modify the following user account information as needed:
    • The account and login names.
    • The password (iFIX security only) or the domain name (Windows security only).
    • The login timeout value.
    • Any group accounts.
    • The security areas.
    • The application features.
  1. Save the user account.
