Using Alarms and Messages

iFIX provides many methods for receiving and displaying alarms. These methods include:

• Coloring an object based on alarm.
• Triggering a script to run when an alarm occurs.
• Viewing the alarms and messages received in real-time with the Alarm Summary object.
• Recording, storing, and retrieving alarms and messages for subsequent analysis or historical reference.
