iFIX also supports message time stamps for process value changes. These changes occur when:
- An operator changes a value in an Analog Output, Digital Output, or On-Off Control block.
- An Analog Register or Digital Register block writes data to an I/O point.
In both cases, iFIX time-stamps these messages with the local computer time and saves it in the A_OPCTIME field.
