Using RAS, you can set up the Sending and Receiving nodes in a Point-to-LAN configuration. The following figure shows how to configure the LAN adapters on the Sending and Receiving nodes. The RAS Server and Receiver node in this diagram both have Ethernet cards.
Point-to-LAN Configuration
IMPORTANT: iFIX or FIX does not need to be running on the RAS server. Use this configuration to set up the RAS server as a gateway for the Receiving node.
