Deepak Maloo is currently the Regional Leader for GE Renewable Energy’s Onshore Wind business unit in India and Asia Pacific. Deepak is responsible for creating and executing the commercial strategy across the region which includes key growth markets - India, Australia, Japan and Vietnam. Deepak is very passionate about accelerating the adoption of affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy and is an active board member of various industry bodies across India and Asia Pacific.
Deepak is a Business Administration graduate from State University of New York. He started his career in the financial services and asset management industry in New York. He joined GE in 2012 as part of the company’s global leadership acceleration program. On completion of the program in 2014, he joined the Onshore Wind business unit in Asia Pacific with progressive roles across finance, transformation, and commercial functions.
