Based on pioneering design technologies, the GNF2 high-performance fuel assembly offers the advantages of increased power and lower overall operating costs.

Thanks to rapid prototyping and testing, GNF2’s advanced design and improved manufacturing process reduces corrosion and the total amount of uranium used, as well as the average enrichment in fuel reloads.

Plus, using 3-D printing to prototype its design, the GNF2 Defender Plus® debris filter greatly improves the chance of stopping feedwater debris from damaging the assembly.
