How will this upgrade impact the existing balance of plant?

The impact on your existing balance of plant will vary depending on your specific configuration. GE Vernova can conduct a comprehensive assessment of your plant’s cooling, electrical balance of plant (gas and steam turbine generator train), mechanical balance of plant (fuel gas system, filter and evaporative cooler, and water-steam systems), and heat recovery steam generator. This assessment process typically takes 18-20 weeks. Contact a GE Vernova expert to discuss your plant’s potential impact.

How is this upgrade going to affect the maintenance schedule?

The 7F.04-200 configuration is approved for 32,000 turbine hours or 1,250 factored fired starts. The maintenance intervals and the number of inspections required will likely remain the same.

What training will be provided to align with the new controls and monitoring system?

Depending on your existing configuration and control system, additional training may not be needed. If training is required to familiarize operators with the controls system, courses are available through the GE Vernova Customer Training website.

How does this impact the existing service agreement?

The upgrade will likely require a modification to the existing service agreement to cover the new components and performance.
