With approximately 1 million new customers expected within the next five years, Naturgy Energy Group partnered with GE to increase efficiency and output at the Fuerza y Energía de Tuxpan power plant in Veracruz, Mexico; GE implemented its cross-fleet solutions to increase output by 9.2% and improve efficiency by 2.9%.
The Techint Norte III plant, a 907 MW plant located in Ciudad Juárez, in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, came online in June 2020; it uses four GE 7F.04 gas turbines paired with four GE H33 generators and two steam turbines from Toshiba; it will be maintained and operated by GE for the next 25 years.
